Bereavement and Psychosocial Counseling:

The South Coast Hospice Bereavement Counselors are members of our Interdisciplinary Team and provides counseling to members of the community as well as family members, and friends of patients in the Inpatient Unit, Kingfisher House and on urban home care.

 Bereaved family members who find it difficult to cope with the death of their loved ones receive counseling to help them to readjust and cope with life without their loved ones. Follow-up visits continue for up to a year following the death of a loved one.
